Scotland's Talent Summit

Scottish Business in the Community members have launched a campaign called Scotland's Got Talent which aims to encourage businesses to nurture their current employee's talent and skills in a way that also benefits disengaged young people and the unemployed. 

A key part of the campaign is the Talent Summit which aims to:

  • Demonstrate how businesses can get involved
  • Provide examples and case studies to show the business benefits of addressing the talent and skills agenda
  • Provide a menu of options for businesses to consider that will benefit their business and
  • Sign post them to the appropriate support

Time: 8.30am – 1.30pm
Cost: Free

This event is suitable for any employer interested in the employability agenda. The keynote speaker is Lord Smith, Member of the Council of Economic Advisors; Chairman of Weir Group and Scottish and Southern Energy.
